Yellowhead Project Manager

Korah De Walt-Gagnon is a proud member of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc and was born and raised in Kamloops, BC. She is a mother who values quality time with her children, whether it’s exploring lakes in the summer or enjoying the slopes at Sun Peaks in the winter.

As Project Manager for Taseko Mines’ Yellowhead Project, Korah leads project development with a clear focus on meaningful collaboration with First Nations and local communities. Before joining Taseko, she spent over a decade at New Gold’s New Afton Mine, where she worked closely with the Stk’emlúpsemc te Secwépemc Nation and the Kamloops community. She led the Beyond New Afton Project, engaging with communities to co-create a social closure plan grounded in shared long-term values. In 2021, her leadership was recognized with the Community Leaders Award for Community Builders.

Korah is a passionate advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). She is committed to creating inclusive environments and amplifying underrepresented voices. Her leadership is grounded in authenticity, guided by trust, and driven by the belief that bold and lasting solutions come from collaboration and creativity.

In addition to her work at Taseko, Korah serves on the Board of Directors for the Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce, contributing her expertise in Indigenous relations, community engagement, and EDI strategies.

Jenny Maloney lives in Barriere, British Columbia, and is a proud mother to twin daughters. She brings local knowledge and heartfelt community connection to her role as the Administrator of the Yellowhead Project. As the cornerstone of our operations, Jenny ensures the office runs smoothly and efficiently, keeping the team organized, coordinated, and supported each step of the way. With a natural talent for multitasking and a passion for helping others, Jenny plays a key role in both the day-to-day administration and in building meaningful connections with the community.

Her dedication extends beyond the workplace - Jenny is deeply committed to her community, volunteering as a unit leader and district commissioner with Girl Guides of Canada, where she helps empower girls to explore their strengths, lead with confidence and pursue their passions.

Finn Conradsen
Manager, Field Programs

Finn Conradsen

Manager, Field Programs

Finn Conradsen is the Manager, Field Programs for Taseko Mines Limited overseeing and leading field activities and site investigations for the Yellowhead and Aley Projects. Finn has lead operations at two major mine developments and a hydro-electric power project in BC as both General Manager, and Site Operations Manager. Finn is passionate about workplace safety and developing successful teams that share in project goals and accomplishments.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta and moving to Northern BC most of his adult life, Finn values small communities and the people within, nature and the outdoors. Finn is the past -president of the Prince Rupert Rotary Club, having led and contributed to multiple local and international initiatives. In addition to his work at Taseko, Finn is actively involved with Victoria Danish Club, and Esquimalt Curling Club, living in Victoria BC with his spouse, Kasia.

Richard Weymark

Richard Weymark

VP Engineering

Richard Weymark joined Taseko as Chief Engineer in July 2018 and was appointed Vice President, Engineering in July 2021. Prior to joining Taseko, he held progressively senior roles at Teck Resources’ Highland Valley Copper operations in mine engineering, mine operations, business improvement, and tailings dam construction. During his ten years living in Kamloops, Richard built strong personal and professional connections that continue to this day.

Mr. Weymark’s primary focus is the advancement of the engineering and environmental aspects of Taseko’s pipeline of development projects. Under his leadership, Taseko has added six additional years of mine life at Gibraltar and significantly enhanced the Yellowhead Project design, improving both its economic and environmental performance. He is passionate about responsible resource development and advancing sustainability through thoughtful, technically sound project design.

Richard is a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University, and is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC. A third-generation mining engineer, Richard shares the profession with his two brothers. He is also a member of the Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame Cabinet, the UBC Mining Engineering Department Industry Advisory Committee, and the CIM Surface Mining Society Executive.

Manager, Environment and Permitting

Natasha Essar is an experienced regulatory and environmental professional with more than two decades of experience in the mining and natural resources sector. As Manager, Environment and Permitting at Taseko Mines, she leads the company’s regulatory and sustainability strategies, working closely with regulatory agencies, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders to advance responsible project development.

Natasha brings a strong background in industry, with expertise in regulatory and environmental policy, Indigenous engagement and sustainable resource management. Her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach has helped guide complex projects through BC’s and Canada’s regulatory frameworks, always with a focus on environmental stewardship and community relationships.

Ursula Johnston
Community Relations Advisor

Ursula Johnston

Community Relations Advisor

Originally from Austria, Ursula Johnston holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Innsbruck, where she developed a strong foundation in strategic thinking, management, and cross-cultural communication. 

Drawn to Canada’s wilderness, she relocated in her late twenties and has since made her home in Clearwater, BC. There, she and her husband Matt are raising their 13-year-old daughter. After years in entrepreneurship in tourism and collaborating with local businesses as well as the provincial government and other stakeholders, Ursula served as Operations Manager on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project for four years, where she worked closely with Indigenous partners and employees, and local residents.  

Ursula brings a strong foundation in operations, communications, and relationship-building. Most recently, as Communications Coordinator for Simpcw First Nation, she deepened her understanding of Secwépemc culture and built meaningful relationships within the community.

Now, as Community Advisor with Taseko, Ursula is excited to continue supporting relationship development and meaningful community engagement across the region.
