At Taseko, we believe in empowering youth to go Beyond Potential. That’s why we are proud to support students pursuing careers that support the mining industry and help build strong and healthy communities.
The Creating Opportunities Scholarship program was developed to provide students an opportunity to unlock their own true value, and to deliver opportunity to communities, people, and the environment.
New this year, Taseko has expanded the program to the North Thompson Region (School District #73). Applications are open to students attending high school in Barriere and Clearwater.
This $1,500 scholarship is available to students entering post-secondary education in a discipline that supports or contributes to the mining and resource development sector, or the promotion of community health and wellbeing.
